Tryouts scheduled for May 17-18

The Chicago Gators will be holding tryouts the weekend of May 17th-18th. Please drop by the website for more information over the next couple of weeks. They will continue at Romeoville High School.  We do have a few spots available for 2008, and even if we feel a spot has been "filled" at this time, a prospective player could change our mind and could have a chance to take over a "filled" position. Our season roster is not yet set in stone and we will give each and every player a chance to compete at any position. If you are currently enrolled in college and can not attend but are interested, please feel free to contact us to discuss further. The season will consist of 40-50 games which will average between 4-6 games every week. 

 With a majority of our players with college and professional experience, the Gators compete in the #1 rated Chicago Suburban Baseball League (CSBL), along with several tournaments around the country during the year. If you feel you can contribute on a highly competitive level, drop us an email or click on the player submit button above. The Gators would like to thank ESPN AM 1000 for coming aboard to sponsor near the end of the season. On July 31st, ESPN was kind enough to send a generous donation which included team T-shirts for all of the players and their devoted fans. We hope this relationship will carry over into 2008 and beyond.
